O.A.S.I.S. 14th Annual Golf Tournament and Banquet
Celebrating 30 Years Community Service and Honoring the Life of Bob Schreiber

Mark your calendar, the O.A.S.I.S. Golf Tournament and Banquet is scheduled for Monday, June 1st

at Old Hickory Golf Club. This is the food pantry’s major fund raiser, and monies raised will be used to purchase food and personal care items distributed to pantry clients. It’s a fun time for everyone, even non-golfers can get a group together to help the pantry by enjoying a meal together and participating in the auctions.

Attention Thrivent Members – Choice Dollars must be Directed by March 31st

Where’s the Beef?

It’s at O.A.S.I.S.! A big thank you goes out to Skip Hampton and Novus International for all the 2019 meat donations, including 3 head of steer and 6 hogs. Receiving these meat donations goes a long way to help us provide a variety of healthy food options for our client families — keeping the next generation healthy benefits us all.

Did Someone Say Ice Bowl?

No, it’s not a fancy ice cream dessert, but it does connect to food. Since 2012 the St. Charles County Disc Golf Club holds an annual Ice Bowl contest at Quail Ridge Park. It’s a tough course with no wimps or whiners allowed, but it is a fun day outdoors and it benefits the O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry. This year the Disc Club collected almost $1800 in cash and 1700 pounds in canned goods for the food pantry. Now that should get the players some hot chocolate!

Annual Youth Food Challenge

This year’s challenge continued into the first week of March. The winner of the 2020 challenge will be announced next month. Good luck to all the participants!

Thank you for making a difference in St. Charles County
