The sixteenth annual “OASIS Golf Tournament – in memory of Bob Schreiber” returns to Old Hickory Golf Club on Monday, June 5th! This tournament is the primary fundraiser for the O.A.S.I.S. Food Pantry, which has been dedicated to serving the needs of families in St. Charles for 33 years.
For 2023, our tournament goal is to raise $36,000 to support the O.A.S.I.S. Christmas Shop. Each December, the food pantry clients get to select two new toys, stocking stuffers, a winter coat, hat and gloves for each of their children. For many of our pantry clients, this is the only means they have for putting gifts under the tree and outfitting their children for winter. Last year, we provided over 1100 toys for 554 children! It’s kind of a big deal, and it won’t be possible without the generosity of our sponsors and golfers.
